New York City
This was the first trip that our crew took together. New York City is just a short, four hour drive from Boston and there are many companies that operate buses that service the route: Peter Pan, Bolt Bus, Mega Bus, Lucky Star, Yo! Bus, and the Amtrak. Fares typically range from $12-30, with the occasional promotions for even cheaper rides here and there. We went right after Hurricane Sandy so the outer regions of Manhattan were still in recovery from the infrastructure devastation and loss of power. Let it be a testament to New York City's resilience- nothing can keep the city down for long. Within weeks, the city was back on its stilettos [or wingtips], continuing its busy way of life, unfazed.
